1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using DebtShift ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
DebtShift is a debt payoff planning tool that helps users visualise and compare debt repayment strategies. The App is provided by ForgeOps AI ("we", "us", "our"). The App is for educational and planning purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. See our Financial Disclaimer for details.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. Free Trial
New users receive a 31-day free trial providing access to core features (adding debts, payoff strategies, dashboard, and charts). Premium features remain locked during the trial. When the trial expires, the entire App requires an active subscription to use.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
- Plans: The App offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region.
- Billing: All payments are processed through Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to Google Play's terms of service for in-app purchases.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store (Google Play > Subscriptions > DebtShift > Cancel). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policies.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current billing period and will take effect at the next renewal. We will provide reasonable notice of price changes where required by law.
6. User Data and Privacy
All financial data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal or financial information on any server. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
- Attempt to circumvent subscription or trial restrictions
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by ForgeOps AI and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ForgeOps AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Financial Disclaimer
The App does not provide financial advice. All calculations, projections, and strategies are estimates based on the information you provide. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. See our full Financial Disclaimer.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
